First single out NOW: ‘Venus Ain’t So Far Away’

“Venus Ain’s So Far Away” began unusually for us — with just the title. We asked poet Pete Feenstra to craft lyrics, then added a few simple chords that felt naive at first. But once words and music connected, the song quickly took shape. With a few tweaks, it became something we’re truly proud of. It ended up with a strong ’60s psychedelic feel — unplanned, but fitting. Sometimes the best songs come together in the most unexpected ways.
