"Zoe's success in becoming a runner up in the Female Artist category of the British Blues Awards, reflects only part of the accomplishment of Blue Commotion. The jazz inflected guitar work of Rob Koral and his (and Zoe's) exemplary song writing skills, coupled with the outstanding harp work of Si Genaro, to say nothing of the tightest of rhythm sections in Paul Robinson (d) and Pete Whittacker (Hammond) put them at the very edge of triumph on the world blues scene."
